King Hope

This All Ages Service will explore a story, written by Emily Webber, of a young girl’s search for the King who will bring hope to her people.  What does it mean to be a leader in these times?  Who do we need, as a people, to guide us?

Music for this Sunday

This Sunday, the children’s choir will sing Giovanni Battista Pergolesi’s glorious 2-part “Glory to God in the Highest.” They will also sing Howard Blake’s hauntingly beautiful “Walking in the Air” (from The Snowman). The sanctuary choir will sing Gwyneth Walker’s lyrical “Peace I Ask of Thee, O River” (from The Millennium Suite) and Maurice Duruflé’s compassionate “Ubi Caritas” (from Quatre Motets sur des Thèmes Grégoriens, Op. 10). Rip Jackson will play Bach’s joyful organ work “Prelude and Fugue in Bb Major, BWV 560.”
