This Sunday morning, join in an exploration of Bach‘s music with First Parishioner Cammy Thomas, violist and violinist Jenny Stirling (Handel and Haydn Society), and pianist George Larivee, who will play and discuss one short movement of Bach’s Sonata for Violin and Harpsichord (BWV 1017). How do the technical aspects of the piece affect the player and the listener emotionally, spiritually? Audience members will be invited to listen and comment, and Cammy will reflect briefly on what she learned on the Choir’s summer trip to Bach‘s churches.
