collection-plateAs a response to the call to be a generous people, and as an expression of our care for the world beyond our walls, once a month our Sunday morning plate collection is offered to a local charity. On the designated Sunday, a representative of the recipient organization is asked to say a few words about their work. This individual is available after the service during coffee hour to engage with parishioners and address the possibility of volunteer involvement. The Social Action Committee and the Parish Minister oversee the program.
