Infants and toddlers are welcome in the nursery or they can stay with their parents throughout the service. During the current time of COVID, older children and youth go directly downstairs to RE classrooms at 10:30 AM, rather than beginning in the sanctuary as we normally do. Sunday school programs led by paid professional teachers and an adult volunteer (at least two adults for every group). Visiting children are invited to participate in all of our Sunday morning children’s activities, but are also welcome to stay with their families in the sanctuary.

Sunday School Programs

All religious education classes meet on the lower level of the church. First time visitors should accompany their children to classes, as the labyrinthine lower level layout can be confusing at first! Your child’s teacher will ask you to complete a “Visitor Registration” form, in accordance with the church’s Safe Congregation Plan.

Experienced Teachers
We have experienced teachers

Parents are welcome to stay in class with a child until the child feels comfortable with the setting. Classes end promptly at 11:30 AM during COVID (since we are not currently hosting coffee hour). Children in the nursery through 4th grade must be picked up from class at that time by the same caregiver who dropped them off. Older children and youth are allowed to leave their classes on their own and join their parents outside or at Children’s Choir rehearsal.

Nursery Care

Young Children
Children of all ages are welcome

Nursery care for infants and toddlers (newborn – age 3) is available each week with a paid high school student babysitter and/or adult volunteer. Before dropping off your child we’ll ask you to complete a brief questionnaire that includes your cell phone number. You’ll also be asked to sit toward the rear of the sanctuary and leave your cell phone on vibrate so that the nursery caregiver can reach you if necessary. Please bring a diaper bag to leave with your child that includes a change of clothes, diapers, a bottle, a warm sweater and comfort toys. Nursery drop-off begins at 10:15 AM and ends at 11:30 AM.

High School Youth

Teens are welcome
We welcome teens!

Senior High Youth Group meets in the church from 7 pm to 9 pm Sunday nights. There is no specific Sunday morning programming for Senior High youth. They’re welcome and encouraged to attend the worship service.
