Losing Touch with the Sacred

Despite our best intentions, there are seasons in our lives when we become less grounded, less centered and less rooted in the practices of body, mind and spirit that can help us. What happens when we lose touch with the sacred dimension of life? When we feel the pull of “busyness” or noise or fragmentation take over? Become unanchored from values and rituals and practices that help us stay centered
We’ll draw wisdom from a slim little book called Gift from the Sea. In my mind, a spiritual classic, this book was written by a busy woman struggling with just these questions as her complicated life threatened to spin out of control. We’ll bring our own life experience to her modern spiritual classic to consider what might nourish and help us now.
