Two years ago members of First Parish initiated the Joy Project to help us all cultivate joy. Joy is something we must create, even during the hard times. Especially during the hard times. This week, members of the church, along with Rev. Anne, will reflect on the joy that we find in the living of these days. To experience joy, we must first cultivate the heart. Come, and find some joy in being together!

Music for this Sunday

This Sunday, Elizabeth Walsh will sing Rodgers and Hammerstein’s joyful “A Cockeyed Optimist” (from South Pacific) and Clark Gesner’s soothing “Happiness” (from You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown). For the Postlude, Rip Jackson will play Mozart’s beautiful “Andante” 2nd movement (from the Piano Sonata in Bb Major, K. 333).

Be sure to stay for our virtual coffee hour, when you will be able to talk in small virtual groups in our zoom worship space.

There are three ways to enjoy worship this Sunday:

1. You can call in from any landline or mobile phone and listen to worship over the phone.

2. You can watch worship through our live video stream on YouTube.

3. You can join worship through the Zoom video conference platform. For people who join on Zoom, you will also be able to connect with others in small groups in a virtual “break out room”. Families with children are encouraged to use the Zoom platform for the Time for Families.
