Image result for balanceOn this Palm Sunday, we will experience a Unitarian Universalist version of the Seven Stations of the Cross. But instead of contemplating the traditional Christian themes of death and sacrifice, we will explore our theme of Balance. Think back to when you first learned to ride a bicycle. Discovering our balance sometimes requires that we experience opposing sides of the same issue and work our way to the point where we can travel safely between both sides. We will look for our place between ease and dis-ease, between harmony and discord, between patience and impatience.

Rev. Anne Mason, Worship Leader

This is an All Ages Service. Grades Pre-K through 8th grade stay for the service. The nursery will be open for infants and toddlers.

For music, Austin Burns will sing Paul McCartney’s iconic song “Let it Be” with the sanctuary choir and guitarist Mark Therieau. The children’s choir will sing the rousing African American spiritual “Wade in the Water,” with soloists Sara Beuttell, Caroline Kvaal and Ceci Kvaal. Rip Jackson will play Robert Schumann’s serene piano piece “Traumerei” (from Scenes from Childhood, Op. 15) and William Boyce’s festive organ work “Trumpet Voluntary in D Major” for the centering music and postlude.
